Anatomical Analysis of The Independent Report about the "compulsory sterilization" and "genocide" of Uyghurs in Xinjiang by Adrian Zenz

On June 29th, American Jamestown Foundation released the report of German scholar Adrian Zenz, Sterilizations, IUDs, and Mandatory Birth Control: The CCP's Campaign to Suppress Uyghur Birthrates in Xinjiang (hereinafter referred to as "Report"). The Report has, as always, discredited and attacked the human rights situation in China's Xinjiang, accusing Xinjiang of implementing the mandatory "genocide" policy under the background of "large-scale bloodline-ethnic control strategy".

US again pays lip service, this time to Mekong countries

But US assistance, which often comes under the banner of democracy and the rule of law, which don't work well even within the US, will prove to be just lip service for these countries.

Vital China-EU cooperation enters new age

Amid a global economic recession with drastic changes to the international system, it will be necessary for China and the EU to support and cooperate with each other in solidarity. In the meantime, the economic and trade foundations of the two sides calls for further (and very deep) cooperation.

Joint efforts urgently needed to advance major cyber governance revolution

The global cyber governance has now reached a point where the order of cyberspace must undergo a major change. The indulgence of hegemonism (or to let all countries resort to a patchwork of rules) is not the way to solve the problem.

Surveys see China-India estrangement

Tensions between China and India have escalated to frightening heights since June. How do Chinese scholars assess the trajectory of China-India relations? What prompted these constant provocations from India against China? The Chengdu Institute of World Affairs last week conducted a survey with 185 Chinese scholars who either study India or international relations. The Global Times now presents these exclusive results, together with statistics from an earlier survey launched by the Global Times and the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations among 1,960 Chinese from August 17-20.

Story of China's comeback invigorating

Western media and observers tend to analyze a static China through microscopes. But when they realize China's cataclysmic changes over a long period, they are shocked by the enormity of the country and thus feel threatened. Such biases expose the intellectual inertia and ideological shackles of many Westerners.

Ball in India's court after high-level meeting over border issues

If the border issues can evolve in a positive direction, the deteriorating China-India ties will be gradually stabilized. However, it will be difficult for the two countries to restore relations in the short term, especially to the level they reached at the Chennai meeting in 2019.

Unwise choice for India to replay 1962

There is a very unfortunate and worrisome phenomenon at the present that every peace-loving individual from China and India must be cautious about: the current situation is alarmingly similar to that of 1962.

Indian army gains no advantage from border clashes with China

Let me brief on what I know about the situation on the China-India border. Based on what I know, in the past two days, the border area has returned to tranquility, maybe temporarily, especially the situation at Pangong Lake. Apparently, the meeting between Chinese and Indian defense ministers and the one between foreign ministers played a positive role in cooling down the situation.

Media, think tanks must stick to truth, rather than ideology, about COVID-19

Unfortunately, Washington refuses to listen. American society has been deeply influenced by the Trump administration, while US diplomacy and soft power have been destroyed by “the worst secretary of state in history” Mike Pompeo. If there is a new cold war or even a hot war between China and the US, it will be a greater disaster for humanity. Think tanks and the media all over the world need to find ways to promote China-US cooperation, rather than provoke the struggle between the two countries.

Why Western media make malice toward China

Through the efforts of several generations, an open and enterprising China through peaceful development has increasingly won respect and support of the international community. And distorted reporting under the double standards of the Western media will eventually lose every ounce of their credit.
